Obstetrical color ultrasound examination is mainly to check the development of the fetus in utero. Color ultrasound can be used to measure the fetal double parietal diameter, head circumference, abdominal circumference and femur length to judge the size of the fetus. In addition, placental maturity, amniotic fluid, fetal heart movement, and whether there are obvious fetal development deformities can be observed

Five purposes of B-ultrasound during pregnancy
1, to see whether the growth and development of the fetal baby is consistent with the gestational week;
2. Look at the safety of the fetus in utero;
3, to see if the baby is deformed;
4. Predict the likelihood of premature birth;

How many times should routine B Ultrasound be done during pregnancy?
If everything is normal during pregnancy, usually, the expectant mother will do 2 to 3 B-ultrasound examinations during pregnancy, respectively in 18 to 24 weeks of pregnancy, 36 weeks of pregnancy after. Pregnancy B ultrasound examination time is not too early, under normal circumstances, it is best not to do B ultrasound within 12 weeks of pregnancy, especially in the early pregnancy.
